Your first day (Lv. 1 – 30)

The early game on Eden is quick. Monster EXP is x7 from level 10, and quests still pay GMS rewards. Here's a relaxed route to level 30.

Levels 1 – 10: the tutorial#

Every class starts with its own tutorial story. Play it through. It's short, teaches your first skills and gives you starter gear. Monster EXP is kept at x1 below level 10 so the tutorial doesn't skip itself.

When the tutorial ends you're usually in your class's hometown with your 1st job done.

Levels 10 – 30: quests and Victoria Island#

Accept the quests that pop up (the lightbulb on the left of your screen). The early chains give equipment, potions and a lot of EXP for little time.
Train on maps a few levels around yours. The training-spot finder lists the best ones for your exact level.
Good early monsters: Orange Mushrooms, Ribbon Pigs and Stumps around Henesys and Perion.
Around level 30 your class gets its 2nd job advancement. It's a quest that appears by itself; follow its arrow.

Look for burning maps. A map nobody has hunted recently shows a burning stage and gives up to +100% bonus EXP. Moving between quiet maps keeps that bonus high. See Rates, burning maps & NX.

When to start using Auto Battle#

As soon as you have an attack skill, you can type @ac on a regular hunting map and the server fights for you. You get 6 h per character per day, at 50% of the normal EXP, drops and mesos. Early on, playing by hand is faster. Save your Auto Battle time for when you're busy or away. See Auto Battle (@ac).

After level 30#

Keep following your class quests. 3rd job comes at 60 and 4th job at 100. From 30 to 100, head to Gold Beach, Orbis, Aqua Road and Ludibrium. The Training guide (Lv. 10 – 275) continues from here.
