Rates, burning maps & NX

Eden's rates are set in the server's own config. The numbers on this page are read live from it.

The base rates#

How drops stack#

The drop rate multiplies every chance in a monster's drop table. At x2, an item with a 50% chance becomes a sure drop. Your own drop-rate gear and drop coupons multiply on top: a 2x coupon at x2 server rate doubles again.

Mesos work the same way with meso-rate gear and coupons.

Burning maps#

Every hunting map has a burning stage from 0 to 20. Each stage adds +5% EXP, so a fully burning map gives +100% on top of the x7 rate.

• Maps start fully burning.
• While players hunt a map, it loses one stage every 15 minutes.
• While a map is empty, it climbs back up.

So quiet maps pay best. If your map has burned down, a nearby map with the same monsters is often still at full stage.

Runes and the EXP curse#

Runes appear on hunting maps. Activating one gives you a buff. Leaving one alone curses the map, and its EXP drops the longer the rune sits there. See Runes.

Auto Battle rewards#

Kills made by Auto Battle (@ac) give 50% of the normal EXP, drops and mesos. It's a trade: less per kill, but your character keeps fighting while you do something else.

NX from monsters#

You don't need to donate for NX. About one kill in forty drops NX straight into your account, and higher-level monsters give more. A rune curse on the map lowers it too, so activate those runes.

NX pays for the Cash Shop and for Fredrick's workshop's cubing.
