What Eden is, what makes it different and the fastest path from level 1 to your first boss.
Welcome to Eden, a free MapleStory server on the v232 client. That's the modern game: Arcane River, Grandis, 5th job, and the classes that came with them. If you've played GMS in the last few years, you'll feel at home. This page covers what's different and where to go first.

The rates on this site are read from the game server, so they're always current.
What's special here: Auto Battle (@ac) fights for you while you're busy, and the Gauntlet Hero buff makes your numbers bigger. Nave and Fredrick's workshop turn mesos into progress: Spell Traces, Potential Scrolls, Arcane Symbols, symbol levels and event rings.
Your first hour#
- Create an account and install the game. See Installing & launching. The launcher does the heavy lifting.
- Pick a class. Choosing a class has a short guide if you can't decide.
- Play the class tutorial. It takes you to about level 10 and hands out your first skills and gear.
- Type
@helpin the chat. It lists every player command. The useful ones are in Player commands. - Follow Your first day (Lv. 1 – 30) to get from level 10 to 30 with quests and good early maps.
Stuck at any point? Search this wiki with the / key, check the FAQ, or ask on Discord. Someone is usually around.

The Training guide (Lv. 10 – 275) has map suggestions for every range. The training-spot finder in the Library ranks the best maps for any level using Eden's own monster data.
Good habits from day one#
- Hunt on burning maps. A map nobody has hunted for a while gives up to +100% bonus EXP. See Rates, burning maps & NX.
- Activate runes when you see them. An unused rune slowly curses the map's EXP. See Runes.
- Keep potions in your Use tab. Auto Battle drinks them for you when your HP or MP runs low.
- Don't worry about losing progress. Characters save automatically every few minutes.
